Both the chain and medal are strong and of high quality. Cheap medals can feel like a piece of plastic or bottle cap; this medal has a nice weight to it and hangs well. For my 16" neck the 18" is perfect, high enough to stay put while remaining behind my collar. I am very happy with my purchase, thank you.”
